Inspired by their very first lunch box design Black+Blum have designed this Lunch Box Original to actually look like a ceramic bowl as to opposed to a basic plastic one (though it is indeed made from plastic). The level of quality and detail is absolutely astounding.
It includes a removable, and lidded, leak-proof inner container as well as a neat round leak-proof sauce pot with a garnish area in the lid, plus a high quality stainless-steel fork. 4 tabs, one on each side, ensure secure and leakproof sealing so that you dont need to worry about anything escaping whilst the box is bouncing around in your bag!

They are also members of 1% for the Planet which commits them to donating one percent of their total annual sales to non-profit environmental causes. 1% for the Planet is an international organisation whose mission is to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. Members assist non-profit organisations that protect land, forests, rivers, oceans and also encourage sustainable methods of energy production.
Using Black+Blum products to take your own food and drink with you can greatly reduce food waste and single use packaging. They build their products to last and, if used regularly, they will help you do your part and every effort helps.
In addition Black+Blum donate to 2 charities: First City Harvest which puts surplus food to good use in a sustainable way. In a city as affluent as London, it is shocking to find that thousands of people go hungry each day. City Harvest collects nutritious surplus food from all segments of the food industry and distributes it to the needy. Second Trees for Cities are the only UK charity working on a national and international scale to improve lives by planting trees in cities. To date they have planted more than 1,117,899 trees with over 6000 volunteers, and educated over 16,000 school children in 26 cities.
Black&Blum use plastic sparingly and responsibly because, sometimes, a specific plastic is simply the best material for the job required. These include polypropylene, Tritan, and POM. They fully understand, and agree with, the backlash against plastic pollution, however the main issue revolves around single-use plastics and the mountain of waste they leave behind. They make sure their plastics are BPA, BPS and phthalate free, are fully recyclable and, most importantly, are made to last.
