The stunning Yantai teapot combines cast iron with porcelain. The dark blue teapot is made from the highest grade cast-iron and has a beautifully enamelled interior. It includes a high grade stainless steel tea filter for loose tea. The lid is porcelain lid with a detailed flower motif. Matching porcelain teacups are available. It has a 1.2L (1200ml) capacity allowing you to serve up to 8 150ml teacups of tea. (note a Mug contains around 350ml, twice or more of a Teacup!)
Tea comes in 6 main types: Black, Dark, Green, White, Yellow & Oolong, known as the Champagne of Teas. As Rooibos and Herbal Teas do not originate from the tea plant itself they are known as infusions.
