Make a delicious fresh cup of coffee in no time at all with this elegant Carona Coffee Maker in durable and long lasting Borosilicate Glass combined with a high gloss Stainless Steel body. You can easily and simply set the coffee strength and brewing time yourself and to suit your own taste.
Just add your ground coffee, pour boiled water over it, wait a few minutes and then push the press down slowly and steadily to release and enjoy the delicious fresh coffee. You can also be used the Carona to make tea in the same way. The components separate easily making them easy to clean by rinsing with warm water. It can hold up to 1 litre which is the equivalent of 7-8 cups depending on how you pour and the size of cup!
There are no hard rules for sizes and Teacups can of course vary plus it depends on how you pour! As a guide an average Teacup is said to contain 150ml when filled to 1.5cm of the rim. Thus Teapots sized up to 0.6L pour 3-4 cups, up to 1L 5-6 cups, up to 1.2L 7-8 cups, up to 1.5L 9-10 cups and our largest 2.0L 12-13 cups. If in doubt check the size of your Teacup first and remember with a Mug you will get half the number of Cups!
