It has a large, gently rounded bowl which fits snugly into your hand making it both easy and secure to hold and drink from. The gentle curvature of the bowl ensures there is more than enough room for ice and a slice. It has a lovely, fine straight stem creating an extremely elegant look. Seeking to present positive change through design, they work with partners whose own goals reflect and align with those of LSA. Supporting their global mission to build relationships between people and the natural world, for example LSA recently collaborated with the Eden Project to create the Canopy collection of handmade, recycled glass products. Centred around the concepts of hydration and propagation Canopy addresses environmental concerns around single-use plastics, water conservation and plant preservation.
Glass as a material is infinitely recyclable. LSA also use discarded waste material in their recycled glass collections, transforming bottles and jars into useful products.
All wood used by LSA is responsibly-sourced and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) - an international non-profit organisation which verifies forests to ensure they meet the highest environmental and social standards.
