Each high quality printed cardboard playing card has a dimension of 5.6 x 5.6 cm making them great for small hands though we do not recommend them for children under 3 years.
The Memory Game known as Pelmanism is a great way of training the brain and memory for all ages, from grandchildren to grandparents. First you place all the cards face down on a table, carpet or any flat surface. Then you give them a good shuffle around.
The first person selects any 2 cards to turn up, if they do not match they then turn them back to face down in the same place, if they do match they take them away putting them to one side and take another go. Their go continues until they turn over 2 cards that do not match. These are placed back in the same place face down and the turn passes to the next player.
As the game progresses the skill becomes remembering where cards are so that, when it is your turn, you know where a matching pair might lie. The winner is the one who finds the most matching pairs.
