Designed in 1954 by Swedish Designer Sigvard Bernadotte and Danish architect Acton Bjorn they were named after Princess Margrethe. The slight addition of some well spaced and proportioned holes has created a fully functional Colander to match and complement the Bowls.
All Margrethe Colanders are extremely durable, strong, long lasting and scratch resistant able to withstand temperatures up to 70 degrees. They are extremely stable in use as they have an anti-slip ring on their base. Very importantly they are BPA free so totally safe for All food use. Extremely high quality yet beautiful bowls.
Care Instructions:
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, steel wool or metal scouring pads, do use a light-duty white scrubbing pad. Do not use chlorine bleach on melamine.
