IP68 approved means it can be safely left out in any weather conditions no matter how hard it might be raining.
A full charge in daylight takes around 10 hours, though, of course, if you leave it out then it is constantly charging during sunlight hours. A full charge will last around 8 working hours. Remember as with all solar panel products the more direct sun the actual panel receives the quicker and better the lamp will charge.
